He grew-up in Wisconsin at a time that was viewed as less complex than the high paced life of the 21^st Century. When family was Nuclear with close family relatives gathering often. It wasn’t until listening to stories about family secrets and struggles, that he understood how difficult those times were.

After years of building a family, a career and a business, the opportunity to retire presented itself. This relaxed life allowed him to focus on telling a story based on his interviews and research.
